CHALLENGE
The Illawarra Grammar School (TIGS) is an independent, co-educational school with more than 950 students from Preparatory to Year 12. The Property Management team was continually receiving complaints from staff, students, and contract cleaners about the bathroom consumables used across the campus.
Upon investigation, it was found that a large amount of toilet paper and paper towel was being wasted as rolls were often discarded when they reached around 30% remaining. In addition, many of the soap dispensers were faulty or contained mouldy, unusable soap residue.
SOLUTION
TBC Distribution was identified as a local supplier capable of providing a complete range of washroom solutions. A product trial was implemented using ESG Green Washroom products, including toilet paper, hand towels, soap and hand sanitiser dispensers.
The trial proved highly successful, leading to a full campus-wide conversion to the ESG Green Washroom range.
RESULTS
The changeover achieved a 12% reduction in waste and a significant decrease in overall consumable costs. Bathrooms are now noticeably cleaner, the soap and sanitiser dispensers are reliable and easy to maintain, and cleaning staff have praised their simplicity and durability.
Complaints from staff and students have dropped to zero, resulting in improved satisfaction and morale across the campus. TBC Distribution is now the preferred supplier for TIGS and continues to service their needs today.

CHALLENGE
Warrigal Care developed a brand-new, $70 million Aged Care Home and Independent Living Community in Shell Cove, NSW. The centre features 128 beds and a range of on-site facilities, including a hair salon, day spa, activity and craft rooms, all designed specifically for residents’ comfort and wellbeing.
The complex also includes a public lobby with a bistro, library, and function spaces. To ensure a smooth launch, the entire site required a comprehensive fit-out using only high-quality, OH&S-compliant cleaning and hygiene products suitable for both residential and commercial areas.
